Q: What are the different collections you make?
A: Natural Queers: 13 different pride flags in 3 different foregrounds
Shadows of Nature: 3 different nature foregrounds in day and night paintings
plantwaves: vibey, one-of-a-kind houseplant-inspired art
Doodles: an intuitive collection of unique, complex doodled pieces
I will also have a charity collection available on a rolling basis for different causes. Currently, LA Love is on sale, raising funds for fire relief programs across the Palisades and Altadena.
Q: What are the different products you make?
A: I make stretched canvas paintings, canvas panel magnets, stickers, and glass coasters. Currently, all collections are available as paintings and magnets, limited collections are available as stickers, and only plantwaves and Doodles are available as coasters. Any collection can be requested as any product, stickers will require a longer lead time.
Q: Why are your prices online different than your prices in person?
A: When you order online, I need to account for shipping costs. As I start selling online, I don't have enough cushion to eat the costs of shipping for each of my items. Generally, items sold here are $5 more expensive than if bought at an in person market, with the exception of coasters. Customs of any item will be more expensive to account for the time and attention taken to send proofs to the buyer for final approval.
Q: Why does my painting look different than the photo?
A: All of my products (aside from stickers) are made by hand by me. While collections like Natural Queers and Shadows of Nature have repeated designs, individual elements like the size of different elements or colors can vary. Small requests, such as the shape or size of a tree, can be requested in the notes section of the order form.
Q: Why are your canvases slightly different sizes?
A: Unfortunately, due to some sourcing problems, the canvases I sell vary between 3 inches a side and 3 1/8th inches a side. I am trying to correct this discrepancy, and while I work through the current batch the canvas size may vary. A painting will never be smaller than 3x3 inches.
Q: How do I order custom artworks?
A: Any piece of work can be requested from me in any design you'd like! In the Customs product listing, please choose what piece you'd like, and in the notes section, describe the colors and features of your piece. Features include what type of plant, paint texture, flag, foreground, background, or small details you'd like. I will send you photos for approval during the process.
